01 . Synopsis

 The story centers around an orphan boy, Peter (Noah Job). He is raised by a  disabled ex-soldier named "Vilna" (Mandy Patinkin), who treats him as if he is his recruit, making him walk in the way of soldiers and teaching him that life is full of hardships and dangers.They live in the once quiet and charming town of Baltez. But the situation changes completely after the outbreak of war in it, and a permanent cloud blocks the sun's rays from the town. One day, a mysterious red tent appears there with a fortune teller inside (Natacia Demetriou who is also the narrator of the story). Peter learns at some point that his sister is still alive, even though Philna had told him she was dead, and finds he has to follow Phil to find her.

This task seemed impossible due to the absence of elephants in Baltez. But things change when a master magician (Benedict Wong) brings an elephant through the roof of a theater and falls on a rich, elderly woman (Miranda Richardson). A number of townspeople want to eradicate that elephant, but the local authorities are under the control of a countess (Kirby Howell Baptiste) who wants to preserve it and asks Peter to take care of it. But Peter refuses the offer because he wants the elephant to lead him to his sister's place. The king (Aasif Mandvi), who loves recreational activities, says that "Peter" can take the elephant, provided that he performs three impossible tasks within three days. 

We will watch the story from the elephant's point of view and also look at the animal's memories when it was in the wild among the elephants. Kate DiCamillo (and screenwriter Martin Haynes of Toy Story 4) explores dimensions often overlooked in children's stories. Peter admits he doesn't know how to accept help from others, and the wizard must own up to the damage he's done, even if it wasn't intentional. As the humans debate what to do with the elephant, viewers will realize that the final decision will not be decided by their will.

The answer - that he must find a mysterious elephant and the magician who will conjure it - sets Peter off on a harrowing journey to complete three seemingly impossible tasks that will change the face of his town forever, and take him on the adventure of a lifetime.
