01.Synopsis & story.
According to the report published on the “tvseriesfinale” website, the new series will focus on the rise of Queen Charlotte in her youth and her first love, and will also focus on Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury. The cast includes Golda Rochevel (Queen Charlotte), Edgwa Andoh (Lady Agatha Danbury) and Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton) reprising their roles from Bridgerton in the series. India Amarteifio plays young Queen Charlotte, who is betrothed to the enigmatic King of England against her will.
Charlotte arrives in London to realize that she isn't quite what the royals were expecting, while learning to navigate the palace, which grows up to become one of Europe's most memorable monarchs. Michelle Fairlie plays Princess Augusta who decides to maintain her family's power and thus the dowager princess does what it takes to secure her son's place as king amidst a changing and modern Britain. Corey Melchrist plays the young King George, who has always bowed to his limitations as king. As Arsema Thomas plays a young Agatha Danbury, Agatha uses Charlotte's arrival to find her way into society, through a keen knowledge of the fractious social landscape.
